School Quote of the Day!

Overheard as I dropped papers into Kindergarten, whilst they were playing the 'I like myself' game:

Teacher "What do you like about yourself?"

Child "I like to play with myself"

Teacher "Excellent, lets get our folders ready!"

Needless to say I stifled a giggle, didn't dare catch the teachers eye and left in a hurry!

    Having a 33 year span with kids, you just never know what they are going to say! One 4th grader asked me why I had a bandade on my behind...It was the pant's label, and I'm thinking, why the hell are you focused on my behind???

    Hahaha! But the question is, should the teacher not have applied a little bit more of naive thinking to the question? After all, they're just children.

    If that was a boy, he probably does. At that age they still haven't got over the excitement of built-in toys!

    Too funny! My 4 1/2 year old grandson has a girlfriend - his life-sized puppy that he "snuggles" with in the privacy of his room, as directed by his mother. lol
