A headline from our OK news channel tonight:
'Town warned of Rattlesnake invasion'
It was a town in south Texas, that due to warmer than usual weather conditions, has been invaded by Rattlesnakes in residential areas. In the past 48 hours 126 snakes have been killed! OMG
I'd have my house up for sale so fast your head would spin!
ReplyDeleteNow this is no exaggeration, and the absolute truth...once in a tobacco house we used to sheet the tobacco for sale, the time came for it to be torn down...the chains were attached to two big farm tractors being driven by a farm hand and my Grandpa...they pulled it down (the wood would be used for other purposes) only to find a den of rattlesnakes...we were all instructed to get our shotguns (I was about 16 at the time, and yes, owned a shotgun...since age 12)and when we were finished we counted 128 snake heads...not counting what couldn't be determined to BE a snake head...what gave us the creeps was the fact that we spent 8 hours a day for a few weeks working in that old house!

ReplyDeleteOooo YUCK! I really don't mind snakes as long as they are outside and not around MY house! YUCK
