My World....is changing forever today

'Flags flying on our street for Martin Luther King Jr. Day'

Today my new adopted home is making history, choosing change and hopefully a new way forward in the world. I already know I will be filled with pride as I watch my first ever Presidential Inauguration as a resident of the USA.

The world is now watching President Obama, and I for one will be praying that he more than delivers on the high expectations he carries with him into the White House.

The joy, hope and pride of many Americans is tangible today and there truly is a feeling of great hope here.

To join in the fun go to My World Tuesday

  2. We'll be celebrating, too! We've got our champagne and our chips. Granted 10:00 in the morning is a mite early to be having champagne. We are so excited! Chicagoans are ecstatic!

  3. I really hope he lives up to everyones expectations. I wasn't allowed a vote, but if I was, he would have had mine.

  4. I have my Direct TV ready to record this momentous occasion, the world will be witnessing an unforgettable event that I am so glad to be a part of. I am anxious to witness Barack Obama, our 44th President of the United States take his oath of office. I pray for him and his family and for our USA. The last Inaugural Ceremony that I watched was JFK.
