Gorgeous. I loved growing up with my grandmother. She was the best weatherperson ever just reading the signs from the clouds or the critters on the farm. Or the trees.
I have always been one to gaze up at the various types of clouds but I must say I have never seen any that looked quite like that. They are really, really cool looking! Great photo and happy Skywatch Friday!
I have seen other photos, but never in person. You lucky thing! These are truly spectacular, and a very beautiful photo of them. Happy Skywatch and New Year! I lift a cup of tea to you!
Gorgeous
ReplyDeleteAmazing clouds. Not seen one like that. I thought maybe it meant a tornado is potentially going to form.
ReplyDeleteGreat mammantus clouds. Some of the best I've ever seen, and with the sky so blue. Usually they are a sign of meteorological trouble.
ReplyDeleteYou were really lucky to catch these. They look otherworldly brilliant.
