That's one reason I enjoy living in north Texas. Great thunderstorms.
Very nice photo. I have yet to venture out on a day like that to get a picture. Bravo!

Oh, wow, those do look familiar!! Beautiful as long as they don't wreak any havoc where you are! Terrific photo! Take care! Have a great weekend!

I love this pic. I need to take pics of clouds instead of sun sets. I love your blog. I say it all the time but it reminds me of home what you write about. xx

Seriously, Sarah, I've never seen storm clouds like that. They look like a living, breathing organism.

Wow, that sky is so thick and so cool!! My skywatch of the week is tucked away in the bush post! Tranquil and peaceful, as usual. Only get heavy clouds during rainy season, but then there is always a lot of thunder involved. Sheba sends a big kiss! Do you guys have a dog, Sarah, or any plans of getting one?

Those are superb clouds... much nicer than the dull grey flatness that has covered London all week!

Yikes...that sky sure is ominous...and beautiful at the same time.

Looks like waves of clouds. They are very similar to mammatus clouds, which are my absolute favorite. They are like a warm blanket.
