That's one reason I enjoy living in north Texas. Great thunderstorms. Very nice photo. I have yet to venture out on a day like that to get a picture. Bravo!
I love this pic. I need to take pics of clouds instead of sun sets. I love your blog. I say it all the time but it reminds me of home what you write about. xx
Wow, that sky is so thick and so cool!! My skywatch of the week is tucked away in the bush post! Tranquil and peaceful, as usual. Only get heavy clouds during rainy season, but then there is always a lot of thunder involved. Sheba sends a big kiss! Do you guys have a dog, Sarah, or any plans of getting one?

Oh, wow, those do look familiar!! Beautiful as long as they don't wreak any havoc where you are! Terrific photo! Take care! Have a great weekend!
That is so neat. It looks like a big fluffy blanket up there!
What a great photo Brit Gal!!! I felt like I should be able to reach out and feel the rippels in the sky.

Looks like a blanket about to smother you! Great shot! And I'm glad you have solved the spider problem.
Wow, it looks like a down comforter.
Double thick indeed - like looking at a Cappuccino from the inside!
Wow! It's like the top of my pillowtop mattress! How beautiful and scary at the same time!

Seriously, Sarah, I've never seen storm clouds like that. They look like a living, breathing organism.

Wow, they look kind of strange. Amazing capture.

Those are superb clouds... much nicer than the dull grey flatness that has covered London all week!
It really had the full effect on me.
Gorgeous sky shot!
Happy weekend.
Sarah, the clouds in this picture look like quilt batting!! Gorgeous!
Unique clouds. Great shot.
That is so odd .. as if someone is skaking sheets out ..
BTW .. congrats on the POTD mention!
A quilt to sink into - wonderful!
Now that is one beautiful cloud formation.
Yikes...that sky sure is ominous...and beautiful at the same time.
Looks like waves of clouds. They are very similar to mammatus clouds, which are my absolute favorite. They are like a warm blanket.
Sarah: Very powerful storm clouds, there are some great layers there.
Unbelievable...how dramatic. I've never had the pleasure to experience a sky like that in person. Thanks for sharing...
Looks more like a sheet of cotton than clouds!
oh look at those clouds...they are awesome...look like giantic fluffy pillows.
Magnificent clouds, I'm left speechless.
Whoa. those are some sriously impressive but very looming dark clouds! It makes me feel like the Matrix is about to unfold. Crazy. Love them though.
