Yesterday I got out of work unexpectedly in the morning, after a county wide power outage. And the reason, a snake got into the transformer at the sub-station and blew it!!
so the snake must have been sssss...ssss..ssssizzling then? Sorry, bad joke. Lucky you getting out early. Im still in the office and cant get out til 6.30pm. Its Friday, the sun is out, is 72 degrees and Ebenezer is guarding the exit.
Yeah, yeah, typical excuse. Here it's always a squirrel.

OMG! That is foul!!!
ReplyDeleteLOL! When our power blinks off we blame the wind, rain, sun, but never a snake.
ReplyDeleteDidn't you write about something like that happening before? Hope you got good news today!
ReplyDeleteIt'd be due to the 'wrong sort of electricity' or some such nonsense.
ReplyDeleteWe don't get too many snakes in the transformers in Tulsa. Lots of squirrels get flash cooked though.
ReplyDeleteBTW - I nominated your blog on "bloggerschoiceawards.com" as "Best Blog about stuff"
Pam - you're right, but last time it was trampoline blown into a high wire, we do things different here!
ReplyDeleteDave - LOL
Katrina - you made me LOL, what you have snakes too!
Stuart - well at least it isn't leaves on the line!
Yogi - WOW thank you!
It wouldn't happen here also because Hawaii doesn't have snakes, I hope.
ReplyDeleteI'm in the Squirrel area of the country, not too many snakes I hope!
ReplyDeleteAlmost like the dog ate my homework!
More interesting than leaves though!
