Chicago was a blast!
Well we have just spent the past week in the wonderful city of Chicago and we had a BALL!I am now sorting through hundreds of pictures and preparing a daily recap of our adventures, which will run everyday next week. We got round all the main sites, got to meet another blogger many of you know too, geocached, had great but hot/humid weather and just loved every minute there. We would both highly recommend a holiday in Chicago, it has so much to offer and is the best of both worlds, a fantastic city next to a beautiful waterfront and a humungous lake.Join me from Monday to read all about it, and also see the Hubster as never before! I have to say though, there really is 'no place quite like home' and we're happy to be home.
Oh wonderful, Sarah! I'll be looking forward to seeing all our old stomping grounds on your blog. I can hardly wait. Chicago is a fabulous city, I must say. We always loved it there. Goodness, you did geocaching there? That's amazing!
ReplyDeleteIt's been so long since we were in Chicago...makes me wonder how much has changed...or not...can't wait til Monday!

Welcome home Sarah. I too look forward to seeing Chi-town through your eyes.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the recap.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear all about it. Chicago was home for us before Oxford and we absolutely loved it. Fantastic city. We like it way better than New York. Miss it tons, especially in the summer.
ReplyDeleteAwesome, I can't wait to hear about Sarah. We have a trip planned in a couple years to visit some family there. I think it's great that you met up with Toni as well.
ReplyDeleteVery strange - next week is supposed to be in the low 80s and not humid. I think you brought the warmer weather with you Sarah!
ReplyDeleteGlad you're back and can't wait for the pics and recap.
ReplyDeleteHey, I just got back from Chicago yesterday! I can't agree more. It is a wonderful city. One of my favorites in fact. We might have passed each other and not even known it. Can't wait to see your pics.
ReplyDeleteAnd if I would have come here first, I would have heard firsthand from you that you are happy to be home! LOL
ReplyDeleteGreat pic of the Chicago landscape, can't wait to read of your adventures!
My sister (CA) has met her OH girlfriend there before and they have always had a grand time.
Glad your vacation was a wonderful one!
