Update
The latest is something has shown up on my brother's MRI scan of his brain, right by his optic nerve. They do not know what it is and he is being referred by the current consultant to a consultant Neurologist, who will do another MRI.He is returning for more tests on his vision tomorrow, as he thinks the other eye is starting to get some feedback too possibly. They are still thinking he has an optical neurosis but it's what is causing it that's unknown. MS has been mentioned but only as a possible maybe, but I know that's worrying him and I have tried to reassure him.He is very stressed understandably and emotional at times, which is very hard to hear when I'm so far away and can't hug him. I think we are all just totally frazzled with the stress of it all and personally nothing else seems important to me right now.So I would ask for prayers and thoughts for my little brother, Andy Williams (easy name to remember!) and strength for all those supporting him.
Aww, thank you for keeping us in the loops. We will do that indeed. hope it all turns out right in the end.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to read you and your brother are close (emotionally) too.
I'm saying a little prayer right now for your brother, Sarah.
ReplyDeleteSarah, I hope that Andy's condition is treatable. Please tell him that we in Hawaii are rooting for him and praying that he gets better soon.
ReplyDeletePoor thing, I'm so sorry that you, as a family, are going through this terrible time. I will certainly keep you all in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Star
You got it! Love and light heading his way!
ReplyDeleteOh, no! I'm so sorry. He will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Sending prayers and energy from the universe to you and brother Andy.
ReplyDeleteJust wandering around blogland and I popped in to see the Brit Gal! Very cute blog. I read this post about your brother and it hit home because I have MS. 3rd generation even though it's not supposed to run in the family. We have a high population of MS patients here where I live, in OR. Most everyone has problems with their eyes and I've seen that they have been able to correct with glasses. So, even though MS sucks, and you don't wish it on anyone, you sort of sigh with releif if you find out that's it. Cuz there are so many worse things it could be...wow, that didn't sound very uplifting, did it? Anyway, your brother is in my prayers, I hope it's just a blip and nothing serious. : )

ReplyDeleteKeeping all your family in my prayers and especially "little" Andy. Hopefully things will turn out well.

ReplyDeleteA Brit gal in US…sounds as if you do not want to stay in the US. Are you still in the dilemma or such conflict..after living so many years in the US. I have come across with people who stay in the US leaving Europe….and are quite happy!!
ReplyDeleteprayers for your bro.
