Time for a change

I am not a big fan of blog headers undergoing changes, as I for one associate a certain look with a certain blog.

But mine has been the same now since it started in February 2008, and I am ready for a change finally. I have also been waiting for the perfect picture to illustrate where I live now and I think this comes close.

I have changed up my colour scheme and made a few font changes. I myself have noticed that as each years passes smaller fonts get harder to read, so I have enlarged everything a little for added comfort!

So there you have it, a new look that I can guarantee will be staying awhile!

  1. Like the new look. As an Ex Pat, though I will always call myself English (even after ten years) I often pop in and read your words. Like you I try and educate the colonials with my Sunday UK blog (pop over and have a read if you get the chance) Plus my book which is doing well, helps somewhat.

Thanks for keeping the flag flying.

  4. (ahem ahem cough cough) I know I'm one of the worst culprits on changing the look of things over on my page. But it is one of the few things in life that CAN be changed easily! Meanwhile, I love your new look, not so different but why not use AWARD WINNING PHOTOGRAPHY when you can???

  6. I dont take to visual change easily so I understand. But that is such a good shot & ever since you shared that it had gotten an award I thought you should use it as your header.

    Nice.

  9. I like the new colors. And I can't think of a situation where I would complain about a larger font :)

  12. Great new header and thanks for the bigger font. I also think that a blog should have a certain look and feel but I also believe that if the blogger thinks its time for a change then its time to change!!
