Credit for this staggeringly unflattering picture of Elton John goes to the Daily Mail newspaper in the UK. Just the picture alone gave me the giggles.
But then I read the readers comments and the one below the picture reduced me to tears of laughter for a good five minutes. And then I had a bad case of the giggles which the Hubster also succumbed too, the end result being I had cried all my make-up off!
"And what is up with Elton John. Good God he looks like an oompa loompa!" (Michelle, Los Angeles, USA, 9/10/2009 10:10)
You just can't beat an uncontrolled giggling fit, so thanks Michelle whoever you are!
I wished I hadn't seen this picture right before bedtime! OMG, what's up is right. LOL
ReplyDeleteSunny :)
I knew Elton was short, but..... an ompa lompa. ROFL! ;-)
ReplyDeletePoor Elton...
ReplyDeleteWhat a weird photo that is.
Okay, stopped giggling now.....no...not yet...oh too funny.
ReplyDeleteThe Daily Mail...ah my...it was our favorite paper! Leave it to them to catch Sir Elton with his sleeves undone! LOL~!
ReplyDeleteSandi
Oh that is hilarious! He looks like a lost elf!
ReplyDeleteGiven its from the Daily Mail, its amazing he has his clothes on!
ReplyDeleteThe perspective of the entire shot is odd .. look at the other guy's head ... looks like it was shot with a fish eye filter
Makes you wonder how he reaches the piano with arms that short
ReplyDeleteSarah, thanks so much for a full belly laugh on that picture! What the heck did happen to Elton's arms?
ReplyDeleteLooks like a pic that should be on the Photoshop Disasters website!
ReplyDeleteI think someone at that paper really dislikes Elton.
ReplyDeleteI'm in the middle of a coffee shop in San Francisco reading my Google Reader when I came across your entry. Needless to say, I laughed outloud and several people looked my way. HEHE.
ReplyDeleteYes he doesn't look quite real does he, a bit shrink wrapped.
ReplyDeleteHope you're well my dear.
I think this is a photo of a dwarf Elton John impersonator. And a dwarf Elton's boyfriend impersonator.
