Skywatch Friday

These were taken the same August evening as my blog header picture, and show other sections of the amazing cloud formations on show. It was hard to know where to look and photograph next, the stunning changes in shape and light were happening so fast! It was quite a show and free to boot.

To see more wonderful skies from around the world or to join in, go to the Skywatch site.

  10. I suspect your skies in big sky country are as incredible as the ones here along the Colorado Front Range. We have clouds here and sunsets that rival anything found int the tropics as gorgeous as they may be too. Lovely.

  15. There was a magnificent sunset here the other day. I actually think my jaw dropped open as I watched it. Sadly I was on a train without a camera at the time.
