Whilst doing supervised handwashing at school:
Teacher "We need to put plenty of soap on"
Child "Why?"
Teacher "So we kill all the germs"
Child "Am I killing all the germs now?"
Teacher "Yes when you wash with soap and scrub that's what happens"
Child "Are we drowning them?"
Teacher "Probably"
Child "Are they dead yet?"
Teacher "Yes"
Child "Are their eyes closed when their dead?"
Teacher "Germs don't have eyes"
Child "But how do they see?"
Teacher "Let's go and discuss this in the classroom!"
In the meantime, Ms. Sarah is doubled up giggling over her desk! I love my job :-)
