These awards are the highlight of the Okieland blogging community year and have been going strong since 2005. The organiser does a wonderful and very tough job counting all the nominations and then the votes. This year Jenx67 took over this daunting task and is to be thanked for all her hard work.
I am nominated for two:
Best Representation of Oklahoma
Best Rural Blog
After looking around my site, I do think my blog accurately reflects these nominations, although I had never thought of it categorised in this way before. I have some stiff competition, including that blogging world super power known as Pioneer Woman in both. Hence the reason I expect to be a bridesmaid!
But if you're an Okie blogger yourself and are feeling generous, I would greatly appreciate your vote for my blog far far out here in the wilds of NW Okieland.
