How trusting is an Okie?

Trusting enough that our local WalMart manager decided to put racks of sale items along the pavement (sidewalk) outside the store, without a checker or member of staff in sight to watch them!

Quite bizarre and not likely to happen in many places.

  1. Krogers in Denison Tx puts stacks of Cokes, Dr.P, etc in the entrance to the store - so when someone exits all they have to do is pick up sodas on the way out - no charge! Shessssss

  2. Not here in NYC that's for sure but not for the reason you'd expect ... because there is no Walmart (to my knowledge) in Manhattan

  3. Is that an indication that the locals are honest or discerning?

  5. I doubt Wallys would worry much if the old outdated stock was stolen anyway.

  6. Surprisingly, you quite often see stuff outside big supermarkets here. Not sure if they are left un-filched but they're out there.

  7. I have a feeling that they had already written off the merchandise.

  10. Wow! This is amazing! I don't think they'd do this in Hawaii. You must have nothing but honest people out there in OK.
