The Hubster ploughing his way to work this morning, this is one of the many reasons you need a pickup where we live! Taken through the window with my point & shoot, hence the screen being visible.
He only works a few minutes away, here he is headed down the highway which has been almost empty so far and is unploughed.
The patio, no grilling today!
The back garden is blanketed with about 8 inches and some large drifts, and it's still only 7F (-14) so it looks pretty but it's bitter out there.
Bon Bon is completely fascinated by it!
The driveway which we'll have to clear this afternoon so I can get out tomorrow for work. The Hubster is going to work until noon and will then be home to help.
I plan on sewing, cleaning, relaxing, clearing the drive and slow cooking some Beef for supper.
Sarah, I bet BonBon wouldn't be so fascinated if she was out in the white stuff-LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteThe snow looks very pretty, but I really don't envy the cold that comes with it.
ReplyDeleteWe are supposed to be getting some tonight here in NC
ReplyDeletei think snow and slow cooker are synonymous!!!
ReplyDeleteSnow was on my mind when I went to bed last night. I got up for a few minutes around 4 a.m. to peer out the front window, and we had only a dusting. It's coming down by the buckets-full right now (9:30) and is supposed to snow all day.
ReplyDeleteStay warm and dry!
Hi Sarah, That is gorgeous. The best thing about working for a school is not having to get out in horrible weather like this. Glad your hubby has a truck and glad he doesn't have to drive very far.
ReplyDeleteBe safe and enjoy your snow day... It's coming here--but we won't get much I don't think.
Hugs,
Betsy
Sorry you are having so much snow this year! We have cousins in Tulsa!
ReplyDeleteSnow always makes everything look so clean and magical. So the Hubster has a plow on the front of his truck? Must be nice. I'll bet your neighbors like you.
ReplyDeleteKay no he doesn't have a plough lol, I just mean't he ploughed his way through it by force!
ReplyDeleteI'm not going anywhere myself. I already cleared off our driveway. Next I'm going to MIL's for her.
ReplyDeleteI love the snow, but it's time for things to start warming up.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing such great photos.
Your new, clean snow looks beautiful, but I don't envy you for having to clear the driveway of that much snow.
ReplyDeleteAi yi yi. My Hunny went to work this morning, only to be told to go home. So home we are. Again.
ReplyDeleteYou've sent it our way :)
ReplyDeleteThat is a deep snow....our schools close at the first mention of the stuff....yah !
Stay warm.
Hugs,
~Jo
It's hard to remember how hot it was in the summer, now, isn't it! Your fence looks very sturdy!
ReplyDeleteI love to watch the cats jumping through the snow, don't you.
Star I wouldn't know lol, my pampered felines won't step outside in snow!!
