How much more can this poor country and it's dignified people take? It's impossible to even get close to imagining what these people are dealing with physically, mentally and emotionally, even managing to stay alive seems to be a miracle in some areas.
A couple of days ago I saw side by side pictures of an area devastated by the tsunami and Hiroshima after the A-bomb dropped. It was shocking how similar the landscapes were.
I don't care what you do or don't believe in, the time is definitely upon us all to pray to whomever or whatever for some salvation and relief for Japan.

The Japanese people certainly do need our prayers and any help that we can give them. The people of Japan have been amazingly calm and dignified through all of this.
Agreed. It's heartbreaking.
Thank you for this post, Sarah. I've been so impressed with the caring and help that people around the world has sent Japan.
We think alike. I just posted a prayer on my Blog, one which came from the Bishop of St. Albans. At this time, just about the best thing we can do is pray, isn't it.
Praying is good, but so are donations.
Certainly is awful.
What's really terrible is that scammers are setting up donation sites and preying on people's sympathy and generosity. If you want to give, do it through a recognised charity. These are about the lowest forms of life.
Oops. Should have put my last comment in earlier. Anyway you knew what I meant I'm sure!
