I then took a look at my highest rated 'Keyword Searches' and this is what I got:
brit gal 185
matthew mcconaughey naked 148
brit gal in the usa 135
bwotd 91
storm chasing vehicle 44
storm chaser car 40
brit gal usa 29
So just to keep everybody happy, here is apparently my perfect blog post -
An oldie but a goldie BWOTD (Brit Word of the Day):
Chuffed = being very pleased or happy about something
"I am very chuffed with my discerning blog readers"
and finally......
Enjoy :-)
Have you ever looked at your stats, you might want to check before you have a sneaky giggle at mine?
That is one ugly storm-chasing vehicle! The picture of Matthew McConaughey is good though :-)
ReplyDeleteThat is the perfect post. My main searches is for "skirt lifting", at least your readers are not as pervy as mine.
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog, made me laugh, always a good thing. have family in rural Oklahoma, very, very rural.
ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with looking at a naked McConaughey. Thanks for reposting that.
ReplyDeleteMy number one is "Working with Wildlife" followed by "Hiking the Grand Canyon."
About 2 weeks ago on a Monday I got 405 hits .. I was astounded, astounded .. I posted photos taken at the zoo and with some good friends who are bloggers .. now did I get the hits because of my superb animal/bird snaps or because of the friends?
ReplyDeleteSarah, thanks for this mornings eye candy pic!!! This will get me through my day!
ReplyDeleteI do look at my stats but never go as far as looking for search words. Better go do that now....
ReplyDeletehmmm. These are my stats:
ReplyDelete424,536 hits as of 6:10 am on Aug 31, 2011.
1,622 - most hits ever (March 11 - day after tsunami in Hawaii)
343 hits yesterday (Aug 30)
These stats do not include my own visits to my blog, which I started on Nov 20, 2006.
At the moment my highest keyword is 'Jenner family' based I suppose on my family history series. I also get a lot of interest in 'University of Tennessee parking may' after I took a pic of Larry's hand pointing to the parking areas round the U.Ten. After that it's 'Hexton tea rooms' so a mixed bag really.
ReplyDeleteI understand that the most looked up keywords are sex, God and money, which doesn't surprise me. Your naked pic fulfils one of the those and possibly two?
Thanks for the second showing. I missed it the first time round, I think so it was especially enjoyable. However, from the neck down is best. He looks a bit too mean in the face for my taste.
What we bloggers do to keep our readers happy.
ReplyDeleteSo this is your ultimate blog post, then!
ReplyDeleteVery funny, and clever too! You Brits.
ReplyDeleteA very eye pleasing post!

ReplyDeletethis post could be titled 'beauty and the beast'!
I'd be interested to know what stats system do you use to find keyword searches? Not sure if mine does that...off to have a look
He's just so purdeeeee!
ReplyDeleteThat storm chaser is getting me hot under the collar!
ReplyDeleteGotta say, I enjoyed Matthew again. How could I not? Glad for you and me. My blog posts are popular for odd reasons too. I guess the heat isn't getting to you.~~Dee
ReplyDeleteMine is an article I wrote about some countries banning YouTube... search term YouTube IP address - presumably people who can't get it trying to find it. They must be very disappointed when they get to the article!
ReplyDeleteOooo, yummy, not the storm chasing thingy but the Matthew thingy!
