Book Fair week

It's going to be a very busy week at work, it's Book Week and guess who's responsible for chairing and running it.

This is a whole new experience for yours truly, in fact I have never even seen a Book Fair before. So setting it up last week was an unknown in itself, I was helped thankfully, by another novice colleague and according to the teachers we have done well so far.

Each class produced some Jungle themed decorations and on Saturday some of the teachers helped me decorate.

So this week I am bookstore keeper and secretary, which I think is going to prove very challenging. Due to the number of classes we have, I will be spending 80% of my day working it. I may be a little stressed by the end of the week!

Good Luck Sarah! Our PTO coordinates the Book Fairs at my son's school and utilizes Parents to staff and set up! Maybe you can find some parent volunteers to help you. I volunteer every year and love it. It's the most fun to help the kids try to find books and decide what they want to buy. I'm sure that you will have some priceless memories from the book fair!

It's like turning a kid loose in a candy store!
I am looking forward to Lady K's Book Fair in a few weeks. She is ecstatic!
