Anyone else wish it was November 5th?

And not just because it's 'Guy Fawkes' or 'Bonfire Night' back home, which I sadly miss anyway. But mainly because the election madness will be done and dusted, unless of course they need a recount.

I have to say I am growing more than a little weary with it all and especially as this time I don't even get to vote. My time will come in another 4 years after citizenship, and thats assuming we don't all disappear into a huge financial or climate black hole before then!

I qualify to become a citizen, I just couldn't fork over the $700 needed in time for this election, but I wish it was all over with too, it is driving me nuts!

And I miss Bonfire Night!

Don't forget, we know where there will be a bonfire party night probably this year. They have had it almost every year anyway! And OMG on the election. I've been turning it all off. Have heard it all, don't want to hear no mo!

So we've got to wait until then? We just keep hearing the blurb, they never mention when it actually is.

Ive never known them rattle on before like this, it's been going on for months. Mind it seems like years.
