VOTE!

Well if you're an American Idol fan anyway, because tonight's the big finale with Adam Lambert & Kris Allen battling it out.

We have been fans of the 'Glambert' since day one and now think he's the most talented and individual contestant they have ever had. An opinion my fellow compatriot Simon Cowell agrees with, having read the many recent interviews with him.

We have also liked Kris from the start, but these two guys are just in different leagues now. Kris is your undoubtedly talented boy next door who will do well in the USA, whilst Adam is your fully fledged ready to launch rock star, who will succeed worldwide.

Everyone expects him to win, but as in previous years he needs votes not assumptions to actually win, so if you're a fan pick up the phone for him. Last week we voted on 3 phones for a full hour for him (a first for us) and no doubt we'll be doing the same tonight, thank goodness it's free!

If you haven't seen the 'Glambert' in action yet and don't know what all the fuss is about, here are our fave 3 performances.

Mad World which earned him the first ever standing ovation from Simon! An unplugged Tracks of my Tears" which earned him a standing ovation from Smokey Robinson. And finally see him rocking out to Led Zeppelin's classic Whole Lotta Love, which earned him the "Rock God" title from Randy & Kara and a "no-one can top that" from Simon!

The GLambert deserves to win having been the most consistent all season, plus the boy is a charismatic American Idol already.

Well I knew which way you were leaning and I'm sure you are dialing right now even! I can't call it myself. Adam is consistent, but so is Kris, just miles apart on style. I like that Kris played his own game and didn't try to out-Adam Adam (ala Danny). Does it win it for him? No idea. Simon is ready to take on Adam and so that makes him a winner already. I can't wait to see what either of them do next.

Agghh! We had the oldest two's orchestra concert which started at 7pm. We have the whole Idol taped but got back too late to watch it and therefore too late to vote. I am torn - I think Adam is a phenom, but I also luurve Kris.
The funny thing is that a lot of the Ball & Chain's extended family live in Conway, Arkansas. His 93 year old great aunt is sporting a Kris t-shirt, votes 10 times after each show, attended the home-coming etc etc. Too funny.

He's my fav too. Makes me stop in my tracks and stare at the TV. Also, sometimes the hair on my arms stands up when he sings. That's always a good sign.

Adam has always been the winner for me. He is as you say, the real deal, a Rock Star who has the talent and the drive to be a world star and that cannot be said of any recent Idols contestants.
