Overheard from a little one!

Whilst doing supervised handwashing at school:

Teacher "We need to put plenty of soap on"
Child "Why?"
Teacher "So we kill all the germs"
Child "Am I killing all the germs now?"
Teacher "Yes when you wash with soap and scrub that's what happens"
Child "Are we drowning them?"
Teacher "Probably"
Child "Are they dead yet?"
Teacher "Yes"
Child "Are their eyes closed when their dead?"
Teacher "Germs don't have eyes"
Child "But how do they see?"
Teacher "Let's go and discuss this in the classroom!"

In the meantime, Ms. Sarah is doubled up giggling over her desk! I love my job :-)

I love it! Sounds just like a 1st grader. There were so many times I had to hold a laugh in.

These are logical questions from an inquiring mind ... and totally worth recording .. you have the makings of a sweet tabletop book . photos like that with 'stories' below ..

Actually, that could be quite traumatising if a little one thinks that there's all these cute little germies looking up at him/her while being cruelly drowned.

I love the way kids think. You're lucky you get to be entertained by them at work.
