Today's BWOTD is another one in common use in the UK:

"There's a horrible pong in here"


'PONG' = a bad smell


My stepdaughter worked with a British lady at one time and they had a colleague called Mr Pong. This lady would not tell my stepdaughter what was so funny about his name and so she called me to ask! She didn't get much sense out of me either for all the laughter.....
