We're under the gun!

Well we're home after going out to eat in the next town 7 miles away. Whilst we were there the news came on and said there was a storm capable of producing a tornado right over our hometown! We got lucky and it passed over and is still heading north, with lowerings appearing frequently but so far no sighted tornado.

Now there is another storm heading in our direction but it may just skip north of us. Needless to say we're staying home!

*Update* The same storm now has put a vary large tornado down 25 mins from us in Fort Supply - DAMN it's big, we got sooo lucky tonight!

*10:50pm* About to shutdown the PC as another big storm is throwing spectacular lightening all over, not very condusive to sleep!

I hope you are all battened down and if not in possession of a storm celler, PLEASE get one dug! You know, I don't think I ever heard it thunder once the four years we lived in England...I can't imagine how you must feel...

I'm so glad we don't have to worry about tornadoes up here in Maine. Though we do have 9 months of winter....

Have a great weekend!

Glad the storm passed by with no big problems. Tornado possibilities are scary. I wish I had a storm cellar.

I'm behind on reading your blog, had a rough week, but I love all your posts, especially Barbie and Sassy handbags and your Madonna post! You do look like her! I love your Vogue pose. hehe

Glad you are both okay. I was watching where the storm was and keeping an eye out. This spring is unusually active, I think. How's that garden coming?~~Dee
