Bonnie's Home

I picked up the baby of the family after my course this afternoon and brought her home with a clean bill of health :-)

She has not had a fever for 24 hours and is back to being the crazy, playful kitten we had before Sunday. The other two have escaped outdoors for some peace and quiet, after the initial welcome home! I guess after 4 days in a hospital cage she is just full of pent-up energy, because she has only stopped tearing around in the past 2 hours to eat. It's great to have her back and so obviously well again.

Oh and the bill = $191 for an emergency visit Sunday, 4 days in hospital, all the med's and a very caring excellent service. To say we were pleasantly stunned is an understatement!

And now....

She Sleeps :-)

This is exactly the good news I was hoping to hear when I stopped by this afternoon. I am so glad to hear she is do so well. Good deal.

Did the vet ever say why she thought Bonnie, got pneumonia?

I did ask Teresa but the vet said as she doesn't go out, it's really hard to know why. She also said it may not have been full blown pneumonia but it wasn't definitely something viral that affected her lungs.

She's sleeping now in the bay window :-)

Such a sweet baby - so glad she's well and back home.

I want to use your vet - I love our vet but he's so expensive! I need to start saving up - Maggie and Teddy are due for their annual exams, shots and blood work. Last year, it was over $600 total for the two of them!

Aha my mum is obviously starting to prowl the blogosphere of friends I have made out here! I knew she'd get hooked one day ;-)

I'm glad Bonnie is home. What a sweetheart!

Re the vet bill - anytime our dog has had a health issue we've had to go to the emergency pet hospital because it's a weekend or holiday night. Amazing (timing and bills)!
