Bunches of Brit's Abound

Well Linda & Bryan my old neighbours from England, made it here safely and after a goodnights sleep, we are off to tour.

Today we are heading south to Elk City to visit the Route 66 Museum and a few others on the same site. We will lunch there at an English Tea-room in a Colonial House and then head back to Cheyenne. This was the site of the Battle of the Washita with Colonel Custer and there are a number of museums and historic sites.

So a busy day, enjoying the history of our local area, pictures will follow tomorrow.

Hope you all have a lovely time together.

I remember the old Route 66 TV series in glorious black and white! George Maharis and Martin Milner and a great theme tune. Ah memories!

Before your time Sarah.
