We officially have the lowest priced gas/petrol in the USA! The lowest the TV station had found was $2.17 a gallon in OKC, although we're still at $2.59 out here.
So how much is your gas down too and was the '$5/gallon soon' press, all a ruse by the motor industry to sell more cars?

I haven't seen $2.17 yet but paid I think probably $2.39 a few days ago. And I swear we are manipulated by so many outside forces, it is scary.
Apparently it was at some 7/11 stores around OKC, but we think they'll have ethanol added.
Wow, that's great! We're around $2.48 right now which is still fantastic.
I just saw $3.59 today and I can't believe I thought....oh, cheap!
When I see it go under $3.00 a gallon, I'm going to buy an ice cream cone.
$2.59 here in Rhode Island
I paid $2.79 this morning. But if I save up points at the grocer I can get gas for nearly $2.
$2.30 in my neck of the woods. We'll see how long that lasts. :-)
Well now if my maths is correct at 99p per litre (really cheap)in the UK that equates to just over 6 dollars per gallon!
Two thirds of that is tax!
I paid $2.69 last weekend, but DH paid $2.39 because he had the points from the grocery shopping.
I just filled up and paid $2.99 a gallon. I can't believe I was excited it was that price!
We just reached $2.89 up here in Seattle. Our most expensive was a little more than $4.50.
WOWSER! We're still well over $3 in the DC Metro area.
