I picked her up after work, the nurse said "she is such a sweet kitty", I was so proud. This time the vet has sutured her externally and she has to keep this bandage and pad on for 7-10 days to ensure nothing goes awry. We will take her back for the sutures to be removed next Saturday. When she stands up, the bandage makes her look just like a whippet!
She talked to me all the way home and has settled back in with the other two immediately. After an explore, play and food, she is now sleeping. I did pick her up and roll her over gently to look, but she miaowed twice and so I know she is more sore this time. Last time she was back to her crazy self within two days, this time you can tell she is moving more gingerly.
We are so happy to have our baby home, we just haven't been a complete family these past few days :-)

Poor little sausage! Hope she feels better soon. She's so lovely.
What a relief for you to have her home safely.
Winifred thank you, but oh my the analogy to a little sausage made me laugh out loud!
Ahhh! You must be so relieved. I hope she gets better soon.
Winifred's comment about the little sausage, made me smile too, as I say that to my cats. :-)
She is blessed with a caring friend. I hope the healing goes well!
Happy to hear wee Bon-Bon is home and is making a good recovery. Keep us posted.
She looks so sweet all curled up that way. I hope she recuperates easily and quickly.
awww the poor baby. She does look like a sweet little girl.
So glad she's home and well! :)
Oh such good news . she is adorable . when the bandage comes off .. kiss her tummy .. trust me on this that shaved bare skin is soooo soft and like a baby's ... recently Gus had to have a sonogram and his tummy was shaved . oh the kisses he got on his tummy were innumerable .. and I think he enjoyed it as much as I did .. Velvet Belly is now his nickname!
