My World Tuesday

My whole world is in these pictures!

We came across each other purely by chance in an internet game room years ago, the odds were hugely stacked against us. We were seperated by 4,700 physical miles and hundreds of thousands of lifestyle miles. We endured hundreds of thousands of hours of seperation, huge telephone bills and long flights, before we married.

But he was worth every long hour spent apart, every mile from my homeland I now find myself, and the total change of lifestyle. There was never any question of him coming to me and I think this picture tells you how uncomfortable he'd have been in a cramped England.

He is most at home in the wide open spaces and under the big skies of Oklahoma. He is a man to be proud of, with strong morals, the kind of man a girl can lean on and I often do.

My world revolves around this wonderful man and tomorrow we celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary. I love you Hubster (K)

Happy, HAPPY Anniversary! I love this story! What a GREAT one! And yes, he'd be cramped in England. I know you appreciate where you live.

I, too, met my husband online, but only 1000 miles (and not an ocean) separated us. But man, those phone bills! No free cell phone minutes in those days!

What a heart warming post. I wish you love and happyness for the next 30 years and well beyond. I can quite understand that you could not uproot that particular tree from its native soil and extensive freedom.
We are on the land too and having to go into the city is torture.

He wouldn't be a happy bunny in the Midlands at all. Still think what you've dome is amazing and the stuff of fairytales. You and your Prince Charming has a wonderful world.

Got to be a book in your story?

Wishing you a Happy anniversary, and many, many more.....
My husband lived in England for four years, and I never could understand why he moaned about being cramped all the time, until I landed in Colorado.
It gets in your blood, wide open spaces, you literally grow into your space, everyone who visits from home, always make the comment, on the nice size of the roads, the parking spaces, the endless rolling fields, it's calming to live this way.

what a sweet post! It seems crazy to think I've actually been married longer than you!

I met Wifey in a TGI Fridays on Long Island and we were married less than a year later - but we too went through long separation, hundreds of quids worth of phone bills and several years exiled in England.

Funny - she loved the UK. I was the one who had to go and live in the Big Apple.

Wonderful post!

Wow Sweetie, I don't know what to say. It's hard enough just to type what with the teary eyes. I knew that cold February morning in 2001 was the start of something wonderful and the defining moment was December 17th 2005, our wedding day. Now I am reminded daily of just how wonderful you are by the things you do for me and yes the things you write about me. All I can say is I LOVE YOU TOO!!!! Happy Anniversary!!
