Finally some rain - we pray!
This is the National Weather Service prediction for our town overnight - 80% chance of severe Thunderstorms. At this point I don't even care about the word 'severe' being in there, I think we all feel "just bring it on".We have spent most of the past week under a red flag wildfire warning, as we are so dry and it's been so windy. There have been numerous fires in the surrounding area and thousands of acres lost. WE NEED RAIN, lots of it.I will however be refreshing some of the supplies and de-spidering our storm cellar this afternoon!! After all tornado season is just around the corner and I like to be prepared - the Hubster of course (being a man), is already rolling his eyes at me as usual!

Yeah for rain!!
The skies are already all clouded over and I am anxiously awaiting the first drop!!
You're very welcome to some of ours!
Know any good rain dances, just to make sure?
Only nekkid ones Winifred!!
Amanda, we'll send it your way.
I hope you get enough to make a difference, Sarah!
I hope that you get some rain without the tornado. I'm also in tornado alley here in Arkansas and I assure you if I had a storm shelter I'd be getting it ready for bad weather season - rolled eyes or not!
We, also, are praying for moisture. But I don't miss living in Minnesota and being glued to the television watching for "touchdowns". Keep an eye out for the "green horizon"!
We've been having plenty of rain here in Puerto Rico. You sound like a prepared Brit Lady!
I had to actually go outside today and water my pansies, it's been really dry here too. We're supposed to get a chance of rain by Tuesday, so send it on east and south, please!
I hope you get loads of wonderful soaking rain without the excitement of the "severe" part.
sounds like a productive day planned. Hope it rains!!
Hope your wish comes true--but with no damaging weather!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
What we need is just a good slow soaking rains. The tornadoes we don't need.
I'm hoping that it pours and pours for days!
We're having some weird weather at the mo. Last week ice and snow, this week 65-70F temps, and as windy as my old grandpa, but that's Oklahoma for ya! I hope you get the much needed rain - it's in our forecast too.
Well, we have had rain for 2 days, and now I want my southern California sunshine back. I know,I can't complain.
