We're officially cut off!

Well we've been outside, wading through the drifts and we ain't going anywhere for awhile! This is what 25 inches of snow in 18 hours will do! That last shot is the highway I take to school everyday. It goes for 7 miles through countryside and it's this deep at the other end too, so not sure whether I'll make it Monday!

These include: our back patio, neighbours car, our cars stuck in the garage, the main highway out of town west and east, our home surrounded, me showing the depth and Sukie falling into a drift! Now we are settling inside to watch the Formula 1 qualifying and to wait for someone to free us!

Here in western Arkansas we are just getting some snow flurries but nothing is sticking on the ground. I have relatives in Colorado that got a foot and a half from this storm

Wow - that reminds me of Minnesota. At least it's almost April so it shouldn't last long. Take care - stay warm.

Now I like the way BonBon got to feel snow, while lying in your hub's coat!

Yikes, that's some footage of snow! Hope you have enough groceries and pet food in the house to see you through until you are rescued - Be safe!

Wow! That's pretty crazy!! Hope you've got lots to do inside the house and enough food to last you awhile. Yikes!

Yeah, I don't think anyone is going to be doing 50 MPH down that road anytime in the next week or so. We still are getting some spits of ice/sleet/snow and some blowing, but not much sticking.

LOL Sassy, yeh she was determined to come out, but she didn't last long!!

We've had a lot here, but nothing like where you are. And yes, a Brit Girl in England has NO idea about this kind of snow. And how quickly it can fall!

That's the kind of snow we get in my area, Sarah!
Hope you enjoy it and it melts soon.

Wow! That is amazing! Several years ago we had 14 inches in March, but this time we are just getting rain. I'd much rather have rain this time of the year than snow!

Vickie said...

AWESOME!! Now you can't say you've only seen 6 inches. Schnikees!

Oh that's a lot of snow you have but you've some great photos too. We just have lots of wind and some rain.

Just cuddle up and keep warm. Who knows you may get to play hookey on Monday and maybe Tuesday.

We ended up with about six inches of snow here in NE Oklahoma. Great weather pics ~ thanks for sharing! Take care, stay warm, and enjoy a pot of tea! :)

We didn't get that much snow, but we did have an indoor day today. We can't get out of our driveway. Tomorrow is suppose to be nicer. Hopefully it is for you all in NW OK as well!

Just flurries here in Dallas - much to my Oldest's deep disappointment.

I'm thrilled. I just planted. Optimistic or stupid?

Stay warm!!

And you thought you were isolated before! Add snow to the mix and you're really cut off!

Being from Nebraska, we get several snows like that a year. I feel for ya ... I hate deep and drifty snow like that. What the hell am I doing in this state?

Kay said...

Wow! This is totally amazing! I'm so sorry. I hope you've got lots of supplies and heat. Take care. I'll be hoping for warmer weather for you.

You have my record snow fall beat by several inches. The most I have ever seen at once was 17 inches while I was living in Missouri. That was a pain in the arse.

and you left the uk for this?

You have an award over at my place as well.

Oh My Goodness Sarah!!!!!!!!
I consider snow a 4 letter word!!!
We had a terrible winter here in Southern Ontario, Canada, but our snow is all gone and the daffodils are lifting their pretty heads to meet the rain!!!!
My heart goes out to you. I guess about all you can do is curl up with a good book and a cup of tea and hope for the best!
I didn't relize you got such weather where you are. I guess I thought anything south of the border was sunshine and flowers all the time!Boy was I wrong!!
Big warm hugs
xoxo
((((hugs))))
