Brit' Word of the Day

Today's BWOTD is one you will hear regularly back home:

"Basically she just faffed around all day long"

'Faff around/Faffed around/Faffing around'

= daudle, waste time, stretch out getting things done

This is a sentence I suspect the Hubster might apply to me!

I faff around a lot.

I also get naffed off. Have you heard that one?

No that's one I've never heard. There's "naff" but never knew there was a term for my son's ailment.
