Giving in to tag 'pressure'! ;-)

A fun meme from fellow expat' Brit' Dagenham Dave, then Expatmum and Melissa tagged me for it, so I am bowing to pressure happily before anyone else tags me!

So here goes: What are your current obsessions?

Work: With just 12 remaining school days until summer recess, it's MANIC!

Fitness: trying to get somewhat fitter before we head off on vacation in June to Chicago.

Photography (as usual): about to take delivery tomorrow of a new Canon micro camera with loadsa megapixels, as my other has multiple lenses and is a bit big to always have on me!

Adam Lambert: on American Idol, can't wait to see what he does each week.

Which item from your wardrobe do you wear most often? - Knickers! No going commando for me, unlike a good (local) friend I know who shall remain nameless, but you KNOW who you are!

What's for dinner? - What you think I plan meals ahead LMAO?! Obviously you don't have a full-time job, a home to maintain, a demanding blog, a book in progress, 3 cats and the Hubster.

Last thing you bought? - Canon PowerShot SD780IS camera and a Kingston 8GB SDHC Class 6 Flash Memory Card.

What are you listening to? - in the car - George Strait, Troubadour; at work - Sugarland, Love on the Inside; at home - Julie Andrews, Do-Re-Mi; in my head - Kanye West & Jamie Foxx, Gold Digger!

If you could be anyone who would you be and why? - A cat in our home, it's THE LIFE I'm telling ya! Endless food, treats, attention, numerous beds, toys, good feline company, utterly spoilt and loved.

Favourite holiday spots? - Italy, NYC, Fuerteventura, Bath, Venice and oh did I mention ITALY!

Reading right now? - When Christ and His Saints Slept by Sharon Kay Penman, a magnificent 746pg historical novel about medieval England. I am absorbed and loving every page.

4 words to describe yourself. - optimistic, wordy, friendly, organised.

Guilty pleasure? - Staying in my PJ's all day surprisingly often!

Who or what makes you laugh until you’re weak? 1. Unexpected farts! .2. Eddie Izzard .3. Father Ted tv show .4. The Hubster trying to exercise with our Wii, he's gloriously uncoordinated! .5. The Hubsters silly dancing he does (think Monty Python), same reason as above.

First spring thing? - painted my toe nails and applied fake tan to calves.

Best thing you ate or drank lately? - Chilli's Mango Tea, it's too die for and then I discovered it's made by Lipton and available in WalMart, heaven.

Favourite ever film? - The Sound of Music, so nostalgic, so wonderful, so musical and still makes me cry everytime in various parts!

Care to share some wisdom? - 'things' will never make you truly happy.

What may surprise us about you? - I prefer just being 'at home' to doing anything else and as a result I invest alot of money and effort in making our home a wonderful haven.

Apparently the rules are: Respond and rework. Answer questions on your own blog. Replace one question. Add one question. Tag 8 people.

Well I am not really into the tagging thing, so if like me you enjoyed this, then please join in.

Brit Gal,

I love that you were tagged... what great answers to these questions!! I feel like I know you better as a result, and I am happy to hear that commando is not the "mot de jour".

By the way, you'll be happy to hear that England was the answer my 16 year Oklahoman neice who is coming to visit gave when she was asked "if she could only go one place while in Europe, where would it be?"

I love the cat answer. I could be a critter in our house also. The life of luxury and totally spoiled.

Nice answers. I admit I thought about nunnies(knickers) for the most worn question, but I took wardrobe to mean closet. LOL!

Serious envy over the new camera and memory card too. I tried losing mine so I could get a new one, but I found it.

I wouldn't worry too much about getting fit for Chicago - you should see some of the people who walk around here!! Plus, there's a free tram that takes you all over the place!

The English girl likes Chilli's Mango iced tea? Even I don't like flavoured iced teas. You are officially an Okie.

I might swipe this one for next week. And I'm totally jealous of the lens and card. :)

BTW, I got one of those 8 Giggers too and it holds about 2000 shots. What I forgot was that I would have to do the work of downloading all those photos or deleting the ones I don't want before downloading. Otherwise it takes forever.

Loved your answers -- thanks for sharing. I have to say that I have developed a bit of a taste for iced teas as well. It doesn't beat the real way to drink tea, but still!
