My 'Bucket List'

A 'Bucket List' is a list of things you'd like to do or achieve before you die. Here's mine:
  • Stand on a Glacier
  • Swim with Dolphins
  • Skydive
  • Return to the Grand Canyon and photograph it
  • Dig up a diamond in Arkansas
  • Go on Safari
  • Be recognised for my photography
  • Tour Italy for a month
  • See Andrea Bocelli live
  • Attend a Formula One Grand Prix
  • Have a cup of tea and a laugh with Eddie Izzard
  • Save a soul
  • See a tornado safely!
  • Visit Norway with my camera
  • Ride a horse along a beach
  • Change someone elses life for the better
  • Be well known for my writing
  • Make someone laugh everyday
  • Discuss the news with Anderson Cooper
  • Write a book that becomes a movie!
  • Attend the Oscars in a fabulous dress
  • Be able to look back and smile
  • Dance to 'What A Wonderful World' under the moonlight, on a beach, with the Hubster

So join in if you like and post your own 'Bucket List', or just comment and let me know what would be on yours.

I saw the movie and loved it. It did make me wonder about a Bucket List but I can't think of anything really spectacular.
1. Finish our house.
2. Learn to drive a car... again.
3. See Ireland and China.
Hmmmm.... I'll keep thinking.

I´ve done a 1 week tour in Italy. Been to Norway couple of times but I didn´t take any photos then.

Good luck with your projects. Some of those projects might take a while so you better start right away!

I like your list. A beach with Hubster - you've a long way to go to get to a beach. Add "and watch sea turtles lay their eggs/hatch by the light of that moon" and it would be perfect!

Eddie Izzard and being recognized for my photos ..that pretty well sums it up

Five years ago, I think my list would have been long, and many would be very similar to what you just wrote! Write a book, make a movie, visit Madagascar etc. Today, life is different, and through the process of spending every moment I had with my mother while there was still time, I changed a lot. There are still things I would want to do, but are they musts before I die? I did think of one thing today: I really want to learn how to ride a camel!! Using 1 rope and 1 foot, as is tradition here :-)

Nice list......when do you start? First thing on my list....make it to 50...four more months to go! I like the idea of riding horseback on the beach but during an awesome sunset.

I'm so with you on the Italy and Norway thang! How delightful that would be!

Love you list. All very enviable items. Well, actually, I've not ever had a desire to stand on a glacier (done that) but like that you want to do that. I hope you have get to do lots of the things on this list.

My list? Mmm...isn't this bad, but I really don't have one. I'm so bad at projecting out like that.

I also saw the movie and loved it! I'll have to think about what I would put on my Bucket List. Yours looks great-I hope you achieve every last one of them!

When your tickets for the Oscars come through can I come with you?!

At the moment I have to say the only thing on my list is to beat the credit crunch and get myself my own home!!

I guess I don't have much of a bucket list. I've been trying to think of some things all day. I used to want to see a lot of places around the world but in the last decade and a half I've lost all enthusiasm for going anywhere that requires me to be away from home overnight.

The first thing I always think of when someone brings up this topic is, I want to listen to all 104 of Haydn's symphonies. There are composers I like better than Haydn but I do like Haydn a lot and 104 is a big number so listening to all of them seems like a worthwhile goal.

Another thing I always think of is a list of books I want to read. I want to read all the classics and I could have already read a lot more of them if I didn't keep getting sidetracked with science fiction.

One more - a crazy idea I got just recently - I want to make a queen size postage stamp quilt.

I told you it wasn't much of a list. :-)

The light in Norway is fantastic. You can get some amazing photos and the air is so clear and clean.

That last one is my favorite. Really beautiful. Glad you're feeling better. Just in time for Secretary's Week!
