Love the graveyard, I was just out today and found a really old graveyard and took some pictures. Mine was a little greener, on a hill, and full of trees! That is sure flat country but every where has its own beauty and that is a wonderful tree out there in the middle of no where. Great shot, thanks for sharing.

I clicked on the picture and it's awesome! I'm amazed at how flat Oklahoma is, is it? If you had one of our dust storms, it would grow into a tornado real quick! The lighting is beautiful, but the graveyard looks so lonely in the midst of nothingness. Is it surrounded by fields?

This is an amazing shot....how cool but strange to have those gravestones right in the middle of what almost looks like desert to me!

You can tell I don't know your part of the US very well! I have so much to see here.....

Mine's up too! happy friday

That's great! I have seen angel spelled as angle so many times. It's especially noticeable to me, having been a high school geometry teacher for many years. I saw words on a slide one time for a sing-along: "Hark, the herald angles sing."

The composition of the photo is fantastic, too! I love the angle of the tree echoing the angle of the clouds.

My goodness, you can see forever. It is places like that where I get terribly directionally challenged. Apparently, I need a mountain reference point.

You can sure tell which way the wind blows.
