..and 26 Bandaids applied!After the first two days it was clear we might break all known records this year, so I decided to make a fun chart to keep track.Now we don't want to encourage injuries, so 'IF' we decide to do anything with the result, it will be to reward the grade with the least probably. The kids really haven't noticed yet, but the teachers are entertained by it each time they pass by.I think there is a clear trend appearing already, and the Kindergarten and First grades are neck and neck! This probably has alot to do with their age range and the air of invincibility that comes with that.Our new Coach asked me today "how do you keep enough bandaids in the Elementary?!", I just laughed and said "I know from experience to buy a ton". Plus a fair share of these so far, have been due to bug bites itching and too much scratching!I will keep you updated, but thought this might give you a chuckle! Bear in mind this also means I have already gone through 26 pairs of latex gloves in less than two weeks - mind blowing!!

My youngest, Jenny loved bandaids when she was little! I swear that child used 2,500 bandaids just in Kindergarten and 1st grade!! Good luck!
Wow! Extrapolating on the # of kg dots, you'll probably need a second sheet of poster board. Hope you don't have to pay for those bandaids and latex gloves yourself! I've noticed the K kids stop crying the instant the bandaid is applied. It seems to heal psychic pain. I'm a former math teach so I love graphs!
What a fun and creative idea. I'd let the kids know it's the class with the least before you run out of chart.
At our school, teachers were given a bag of band-aids at the start of the year. I did give out my share of them but usually, I sent them to teh nurse anyway.
That's hilarious. I'll have to pass that along to my school friends. jan
