Doing a little labo(u)r of our own

Hope everyone is having a fun Labor Day weekend, after a day of relaxation, today we start on another home project.

It's time to do something about our small but useful Utility room. The paint and flooring is purchased, so we are spending today getting as much done as we can. Of course this means moving out the Washer and Dryer, always a hassle but necessary. Unless of course we want to go with the really classy option and just paint around them ;-)

If it all turns out as expected, piccies tomorrow!

Try not to labor too long on this holiday weekend.

The joy for me is when the project is finished ..to stand and admire how great it looks and how happy that it was done. I'll bet it will look great.

Gotta love holiday breaks! They give so much more time for home improvement tasks that just can get started within the 2 days of a weekend! Have fun!~

Have a fun time labouring and adding colour to your utility room. If it's anything like what you did to the rest of the house, it'll be gorgeous!

Move those heavy things very carefully ... sprained backs are no fun

Have fun. It's always fun to brighten and refresh. Don't work too hard.

Paint around them---LOL!

Laboring on labor day?! Very productive of you, though not the greatest fun in the world. But there's plenty of time for fun.

I'm a big fan of painting around major appliances. My Hunny likes to strain his back and move things for those kinds of projects. Go figure.
