Where are y'all coming from?!

In the past few days I have had a big noticeable jump in the number of visitors I get a day here! I can't track down where or why this has happened suddenly, but I am intrigued.

So if your a newbie, please come out of lurking and tell me what brought you to my blog. And even if you're not, I'm still interested in how you got to me?

Having been born in England, I enjoy reading other Brits' blogs. I think I found you by clicking a link on someone's posting.
I'm glad I found your blog.

I got to you via Kay's Musings, and I got to Kay via Cloudia's Comfort Spiral.

I think you may have commented on another blog I read. I sometimes randomly follow links from people's comments to see their blogs. I followed you because your blog kept me interested. ;)

Your feedjit site should provide you with the answers.

Last weekend my visitor count went up 150% and it was because people were searching for Paula Creamer using a Yahoo search site and somehow got to my blog as I'd once mentioned her.

I'm thinking about writing a post mentioning Jesus, Microsoft, Google, Obama, Oprah and Man Utd but I suspect the plot might be a bit hard to believe and anyway, would Obama ever pass the ball to Jesus ?!

I got here via mr inukshuk :)
I read more than I comment but I have been reading a lot of your old posts , especially about your school job
I've just taken up a similar job ( in the middle division of a school ) but I can so relate to what goes on.
Especially the number of bandaids I went through in one week

I've also done the car park thing when doing announcements
I've confused people when talking about stationery and no one seems to know when " half one " is :)

I've been popping in here for a couple of months now having clicked on a link in someone elses blog (not sure who).
I enjoy the perspective you have as an expat and can compare some of your experiences to mine. Whilst I don't reside in the US, I am a very frequent visitor to Long Island. A lot of the sayings and misinterpretations that wew brits use does make me smile and it's nice to know that it's not just me (especially the watttter one !).

Maybe some day I'll make that permenant move but in the mean time i'll settle for your musings on US life.

I've been getting more visitors lately too. I occasionally get a little jump like that and some other bloggers always seem to at the same time. I think once in a while Google tweaks their search routine somehow so that some sites show up on more searches.

Oh... I was going to say also that I've been visiting since the Okie Blog Awards. I live in northeast Oklahoma and I'm also a huge anglophile. I absolutely love everything about "The Old Country". Well... at least what I get to see from this side of the big pond. :-)

Hi! I'm visiting this site from here in Florida. I don't even remember how I got here...but I have three kids so I don't sleep much. You get the picture.

I don't remember how I got here, but glad I did.

I notice a lot more readers than commenters also.

Hiya! I found you from the Pond Parleys blog - and I can't remember how I found that one! I can barely remember what I had for breakfast this morning. Anyway, I'm an Oklahoma girl who has lived in the UK for 11 years now - recently got my UK citizenshop so I find your blog fascinating!!

I was on the UK-Yankee site, clicked on one of the members blogs, which took me to another and when I saw you were British in Ok I thought aahhh, this should be good. I once was a Brit gal in Texas, California, New Orleans and made a couple of trips to Ok. I'll be back to read more.

The fact that you are not in Dallas, but a rural part of the State you live in intrigues me.

Oh and I like Brad Paisley too, but not as much as George Strait:)
