These were taken the same August evening as my blog header picture, and show other sections of the amazing cloud formations on show. It was hard to know where to look and photograph next, the stunning changes in shape and light were happening so fast! It was quite a show and free to boot.

Wow, so greatto see more of those incredible clouds. I can well imagine what a show it must have been. Do you often get such displays in Okieland?
Sun and clouds make for quite a show
In answer to your question Rob, yes we do!
The swooshing, glowing, golden clouds are absolutely gorgeous!
The sky is always an amazing sight to me, and the fact that the show costs not a farthing is absolutely the best deal of the century!

I suspect your skies in big sky country are as incredible as the ones here along the Colorado Front Range. We have clouds here and sunsets that rival anything found int the tropics as gorgeous as they may be too. Lovely.
Lovely pictures! I love sky photos and sunsets. Your lucky to get such beautiful cloud formations there!
What wonderful pics these are! Enjoy your weekend Sarah!
Beautiful sky shot!
Now that is truly spectacular, Sarah. I've said it before you've got the most amazing clouds by you.
what amazing photos!
Wow, that was quite a night for showy sunset patterns and colors. The first image reminds me of a cauliflower mushroom. Excellent captures.
There was a magnificent sunset here the other day. I actually think my jaw dropped open as I watched it. Sadly I was on a train without a camera at the time.
Wow, that first picture is incredible. Very dramatic.
