A night away perhaps?!

Suke went into hospital yesterday morning and spent the night. She had a bladder infection a couple of weeks ago and after antibiotics, a change to THE most expensive cat food known to man, and a ton of cat litter with all the extra peeing, she still appeared to have a problem.

Well it seems Sukie was 'pulling a sicky'!

I just spoke to the vet and she said she couldn't find a thing wrong with her. In fact she said she didn't know what to make of her and she is a bit of a funny cat, as she just settled right in there like she was at home. Eating and drinking fine and rubbing against the bars to her cage purring away, just happy as Larry!

And of course we all missed her, the other two were not sure what to think. And Bon Bon looked for her everywhere, little knowing she just fancied a night away from us all apparently!

Suke just wanted a vacation at the vet spa. Last time she went she got delicious, expensive food as a result. Wonder what she hopes to get this time?

She looks healthy enough !
The thing with cats, is when they get sick, even something minor, they tend to curl up in a ball and give up. Just the opposite of dogs.
They must treat her well at the vets, most cats are in a state of shock after the car ride, which makes their condition even harder to diagnose.
Suke on the other hand, may like the car ride :)
Glad she's all better.

Keep careful watch on the extra peeing. Could be a sign of feline diabetes. I'm sure they checked for it but it might be a sign of things to come. Our previous cat had the wettest cat boxes ever, even on 2xday insulin shots.

P.S. Most the time, I can't comment here because your word verification doesn't show an actual word for me to type in to verify! This is my 4th try here this morning.

Pets are put in our lives to build our characters. Of this I'm sure. (And make sure we don't get too wealthy.)

I do hope all is well and the vet didn't miss anything, or perhaps Suke just fancied a little jaunt away x

I reckon cats are fickle pets, they sure know how to show you who's boss.

A change of scenery is all she wanted. I feel like that sometimes, though I generally don't pee in the cat litter!

Cats know best and the best to Suki.

Ah, animals drive you crazy, do they not? That's why we love 'em. Suke was just reminding you who's in-charge. I am the proud owner of an almost 11-year old, 3-legged pooch. What he has added to our lives is not replaceable - unlike all of the telephones, remote controls, duvet covers, doorknobs and $312 in cash that he has eaten over the years.

Well she's home and hugging the radiator happily!

Johno - good lord lol, that is one expensive puppy! We did find $10 under our bed once that Bon Bon had squirreled away, but at least we got it back!
