Skywatch Friday

'The firey Wolf Moon'

This stunning moon quite literally took our breath away last Friday night. It was so huge and orange as it rose in the sky, a picture opportunity I could not miss. I kept the street lights in the shot, to give a sense of proportion.

Sarah, that is the Best. You really captured the details. I thought the smaller lights might have been stars. Wow!

Great moon shot. I got a new camera recently and hope to get some photos like that.. I really like your blog layout with the 2 sidebars and the colors are great. If I were to do it again I would pick a very similar format

When I commented on this shot on your other blog I forgot to mention that I can't get over the color. When the wolf moon was full it was overcast here and we couldn't see it and by the time I could see and photograph it (a few days after full), we didn't get those brilliant colors. You got it in all its glory.
