Territory dispute!

We're having a bit of a feline dispute today, all over a scrappy bit of newspaper!

I know cats like newspaper for it's texture I assume, but I had no idea my three were so keen until we left this lying out overnight. It's been ripped, scratched at, slept on, hidden under and is far more entertainment than any toy apparently!

And now we are having a battle of wills over who gets to sleep on it?

We had a bit of a butt to butt stand-off, with Bon Bon sensibly deciding to stay well out of it and give in to seniority for a change.

But this time our middle child Cal-Jo won the day, with Bon Bon assuming a supportive role!

My two cats (sadly no more), used to love newspapers. You couldn't chance laying one on the floor if you were in the middle of reading, they would shred it to pieces.
Oliver, my cat now, loves a brown paper sack, and will spend hours inside.
They're a funny lot cats....
Yours look well fed !

Sometimes it take such a small thing to make cats happy! Who would have thought a newspaper could give such pleasure!

Oh Rose LOVES newspaper (and cardboard) she will have a lie down on a piece no bigger than a thimble if its there ... this morning while Jack was having his morning soccer practice, ToonMan gave her a page of the NY Times to sit on while she watched Jack zoom around ... what would we do with our cat-tainment?

They are so cute. From certain angles Cal-Jo looks a lot like one of my little darlings.

I so miss kitties!!!

One of my cousins brought me a tea towel from Australia one time. For some reason, my kitty liked to just roll around on that thing. She didn't do that with any other thing I owned. Just that. Peculiar. jan

P.S. I am still jealous of you being on vacation already.
