Sunshine Delivery

Occasionally I get offered products in return for a review on my blog, usually I refuse, but what woman can say no to free flowers?! I was also encouraged to be completely honest, whether good or bad.

So on Tuesday I received a next day flower delivery from sunflowerguy.com, just the box immediately makes you smile, what a great message on a snowy day!

Andy who first contacted me about their flowers, says "The thing that is probably most unique about our business is our shipping container. We think it is superior to any other flower shipping method. It keeps the flowers hydrated, and prevents the bouquet from being crushed or damaged in any way. Our competitors simply pack flowers into a narrow box, which works if you’re a florist, but most consumers don’t want to have to cleanup, cut and rearrange their flowers."

I would agree with him. Not only is the box fun, but the instructions are clear and easy to follow.

In no time you are have your arrangement in hand and ready to display.

They are kept watered and in place with this oasis, as soon as you unpack them it tells you to remove it and put them straight into water with the food supplied.

Nearly all their flowers are "grower direct", they grow all the sunflowers and most of the greens, with a few other flowers sourced locally in California. They are the largest (through the parent company Dos Gringos) grower of ornamental sunflowers in the world and who doesn't love sunflowers?

The bouquets are all designed by reknowned floral designer, René van Rems and there are many lovely styles available. The one I received, California Medley is a wonderful mix of reds and golds, it's been brightening up my kitchen window all week.

It's nice to get the occasional reward for all our hardwork blogging and I can say without doubt this was one of the nicest, the flowers are beautiful.

Honest to God, what will they think of next? Amazing bouquet! I have never heard of such a thing here in Hawaii. I love your photo of the flowers with the snowy background (your yard).

What a lovely gift - and yes, beautifully and thoughtfully packaged. Hope they give you many days of sunshiny happiness - we need it right now!

Neat, Sarah.... Instant flowers, huh???? At this time of year, since we have dreary, drab conditions --those flowers would be pretty.

Thanks.
Hugs,
Betsy

Oh how lovely! I have them bookmarked - love sending flowers surprises to my mom. Perhaps one might just find a way to my door. :)
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Sarah
Thanks for popping by and congratulations on your photography success! Your year looks even busier than mine was.
If you have taken a peep at my shop you won't have found any of the Union Jack products as these were made to order. However if you want anything in particular just email me at letterbox@winnibriggshouse.co.uk amd I am sure we can work out something to suit.
Kind Regards
Jenny

Love this idea; have always thought that flowers should be easier ... you order online and never know what shop they will assign it to, that kind of thing. Love love it! Was going to post about your busy year too ... loved seeing your UK pics and am glad you still came home to OK :)

That's a great product. I would review that.

I've been offered free copies of books (that I don't want to read), if I read them and reviewed them (sorry, no, my reading time is short and is only for stuff I like.)

One very pushy lady sent me a product for SuperPizzaBoy to try. They sent it, he refused to have anything to do with it, and the lady has been very nasty ever since.

So good for you!!
