Here we go again Snowklahoma!

Yep the next blizzard has started in Okieland, this was the view from my office at 2:30pm. It's not even showing as having reached us on the radar yet, so this was ahead of the actual storm front, which is really due to hit hard overnight.

We missed the brunt of last weeks storm, but this time the whole of Okieland has a big old bullseye over it, including us in the NW corner. So if you're elsewhere in Okieland, it's here and headed your way!

We let the school buses leave at 1:30pm and my boss told me to leave at 2:45pm as I live in the next town and had to drive 7 miles. The drive home was okay, just blowing snow across the road and poor visibility but I made it safely.

Now I am tucked up 'snug as a bug in a rug' at home, with plenty of supplies and waiting on the 'snow day' call from work if the weather goes as forecast. We are due to get anything from 4-12 inches dependant on who you believe, with 2-3ft drifts due to high winds. It is bitter cold out there at just 8F (-13C) with wind chills you don't even want to know about!

Okies please stay indoors warm and safe, it's going to get real nasty out there!

I hope you stay safe and warm throughout this storm. I think that same storm is supposed to hit us tomorrow evening, so we're 'lucky' as well.

Hope you stay 'snug as a bug in a rug' Sarah---'til that storm is long-gone... We are expecting snow tomorrow afternoon and night also (same system).. We've missed most everything lately--so I wonder if it will miss us again this time too....

Stay SAFE and WARM.
Hugs,
Betsy

*sigh* I never, ever thought I'd say it, but I'm so tired of snow. Really? More? Stay warm!

Seven miles! Bwahhhah! Anyway, Rick's my fave too. Did you see the ENTIRE state is red for the warning? Yikes. The wind is just picking up here since 8PM. Hoping for the best!

Snowklahoma! Great word!

We're supposed to get snow tonight, also, but don't know if or how much. The forecast is from none to 9". We shall see. I don't mind any amount of snow; it's ice I dread.

Love the "Snowklahoma". I saw on the national news tonight that you were going to get hit again. It was very cold where my kids are in colorado yesterday, but with ver little snow. Again the system is picking up moisture from the gulf to make snow. Stay safe.

I do hope you are prepared for any emergency due to the weather, e.g., canned food, bottled water, flashlights, and radio. Good luck!

Sarah, I figured you had gotten the snow this time! I saw the weather channel's birds eye view of the country and saw the snow stalled over your Okieland!! Be safe and warm!

I guess you don't want to know what the weather was like in London yesterday then? At least you are home and don't have to travel, but that snow tornado in your driveway yikes! Hope it passed over quickly.
