Back to Life finally!

Well everything has been running normally now for more than 60 hours and confidence is growing that life may have been breathed back into the Hubsters ailing business machinery.

Mind you much of it has been replaced over the past 5 weeks of endless breakdowns and stress. We now have a new compressor, oil seperator, various other components these connect with, and a new up to date breaker box will be fitted tomorrow as a final safeguard.

As is often the case with old equipment, as soon as we replaced one part, another broke down and had to also be replaced. Up until Saturday morning the Hubster was still getting up in the middle of the night to drive down and check it was running. Even this morning the gasket on his water well blew, but this was a quick fix he could do himself, ENOUGH ALREADY though!

I think the whole ordeal has added more than a few grey hairs to his head, but on Saturday we were finally able to leave town for more than a couple of hours and felt a corner had been turned at last.

We are both now able to move on and not spend all day worrying about what will give up next.

My mind is returning to blogging and normal service is about to resume here. I hope you are all well and I am sorry I have not been around to viisit, but expect to see me dropping by soon.

I'm glad to hear the problems are solved. That much stress isn't good for anybody. Welcome back to blog. You've been missed.

Congrats to you both! And no worries about the grey hairs - they compliment the witty and the wise! :)

What a relief, Sarah! I kept wondering when things would be resolved. I'll keep my fingers crossed that everything will be smooth sailing from now on and that spring will take hold shortly.

No apologies necessary Sarah. We are just happy that you two can breathe again. It will be special having you back more often. Have a great rest of the week.

So glad for you. Hopefully since most of the equipment is now new, there will be many years of smooth sailing.

I was worried when you didn't post more updates, but now I can breathe a sigh of relief. The worst is over, hopefully...

I'm so glad that things are getting better. Even in industrial settings when we set a new piece of equipment it is like it overpowers the accessory stuff and leads to lots of shutdowns and further repairs.

It sounds like the corner has been turned.

I was so bummed. This weekend was when we were meeting. Oh well, maybe later.

No surprise about the new pieces straining the older ones, it used to happen to Toonman's editing equipment. Glad to hear life is returning to normal .. for us too! Isnt is great not to worry? xo

I think the old pieces were jealous and wanted to be replaced, too. You would think that they'd take pride in hanging in there while other parts were falling apart.

Sending out the vibes...

Thank goodness you got it all fixed. I know exactly what it's like with old equipment. We own a paving company. Things are always breaking down. Glad times are better.~~Dee
