Mitford series? I have not heard of it. But then again I don't get to read too often with the boys around. LOL. What one would you recommend that I start with?

Michelle, At Home in Mitford is the first of 9 books in the series. They are really delightful, all about a preacher in a small mountain town and his fictional life. There are great characters that then run through all the books, so you get to keep up with their lives too. I have lol many times reading them, they're just about life with a feel good factor thrown in. Knowing you I have no doubt you'd love them and I am sure your local library will have them, as they are very well loved books.

Oh my, some of my favorite books and favorite authors here, Sarah! I love and adore the Mitford books and have read them all. I recently finished the first book in the Father Tim series, "Home to Holly Springs". We're also big Grisham fans here, as he is originally from my home state. We own all of his books. Most of his early ones, I have in first edition hard backs, albeit not signed. I haven't gotten the new one, "The Appeal" yet, but will soon. Of course, this does NOT mean I am up to date on reading them all. I'm about 5 behind on Grisham :( I have SO many other books and authors I want to read. Reading is a huge hobby of mine, love to see what others are reading!!!
