Be careful what you wish for!

So some of you might have noticed that I commented on the Red Cardinal post, that I was hoping for a Blue Jay next....well "Bob's your uncle" guess what showed up last night! LOL

He even brought along a couple of 'wannabe' groupies, just to make himself really look like a bird world celebrity!

And if I looked this good from behind, I'd also be 'shaking my tail feather' alot more often! ;-)

So after my comment and then his immediate appearance, don't expect any comments from moi about wanting to see anything long and slithery in my garden - that's a shot I'll pass on!

More great shots! We have blue jays here, but I don't like them nearly as much. They are sort of like our mockingbirds, they are big and bully the other birds! These are fantastic shots though, you must have an awesome zoom to get this close. They fly away if I'm outside, so I always have to photograph birds through my windows (very dirty windows, I might add!) :)

Thanks Stacy...these shots have all been taken through our bay window, which also needs cleaning. So I guess they are a testament to my camera, I use a Canon Rebel XTi and this was taken with the 55-250mm EFS lens at full extension.

Today I am going out to clean this window, seeing as I seem to be getting so many good photo opportunities!
