Today’s BWOTD I used at my Beta Sigma Phi Sorority party last night, only to be met by blank questioning faces:
“So were you skiving from work today then?”
Skive/Skiving = Playing hooky
In other words coming up with a less than truthful reason to miss a commitment like work or school!
Of course I have never done any such thing ;-)
