Blog into the future!

I just wanted to ensure my blogging buddies are aware of a great new feature offered by Blogger finally.

You can now write your blog posts anytime and then schedule them to be posted at a later time and date! This is what I have been waiting for eagerly, now I can write anytime I feel like it or am inspired to and spread out when the posts will actually appear. This means you can also plan ahead for holidays or busy periods.

The new feature is currently appearing on our 'Dashboard' page when you log in. But if you now look at the bottom right corner just above the 'Publish Post' button when you are creating a post, you will see 'Post Options'. Click there and you can enter a time and date in the future for your post to appear, complete it and then hit Publish Post - job done :-)

Wonderful time saver thank you Blogger, I already have posts done through until Thursday! LOL

I like that! I actually wrote a whole post adn then saved it as a draft and posted it the next day, but it still gave the previous date and I still had to manually post it myself on that =next day...thanks for the tip

Thanks for the info... I already draft a lot of my posts but to have them set to post on particular dates when on holiday etc will be great!!

I was writing my posts in WORD and then copying and pasting them across on the day I wanted to publish them. It did save some time, but not alot by the time you inserted piccis, links and formatted!

Thanks for sharing that. Some days I am prolific and other days....nothing. It would be nice to save them like that.

Just when I get grumpy about Blogger they come up with something new. I've really enjoyed it so far!

Have a great day!♥

The in-ability to pre-post using blogger was one of the many reasons I stopped using it and went to Wordpress.
