The Big Countdown III

  1. It would have been nice if my mum and I could have seen eye to eye more as I got older, but we are very different personalities! Still love her though :-)
  2. I wish I hadn't bitten my fingernails into my 30's!
  3. I wish I could take my Nana to see Venice just once
  4. I really wish she was fit enough to come here just once, and see my happy life now and home
  5. I wish I had accepted I am never going to be a size 8 sooner!
  6. I wish I had never herniated a disc in my back lifting a child that I should have known was too heavy! The results are still with me regularly years later.
  7. I would have liked to know younger that you can't please everyone all of the time
  8. I wish someone had told me that eating a truly balanced diet really does make you feel better in yourself
  9. I would have liked someone to tell me that what other people think of you really doesn't matter, but you need to like yourself first and foremost
  10. I wish I had found out I get really badly seasick, before I climbed on board a ferry in choppy seas between some Greek Islands. That's a journey and a feeling that will always be with me unfortunately!

Sarah, I have been so busy the last few days that I just sent my family a very brief email to say I would catch up with them via email and blogging on Monday, my day off. That said, when I read your number 9 here, I HAD to comment NOW...to say..wow. That seems so obvious and yet...it's not always so...but it is SO, SO true. Hugs, M.

Sarah, number 5 and 9 are on my list.I can only dream of a size 8. LOL. I will be happy to get into a 12 at this time. I can't believe how fast the 40's are creeping up on me. The big 38 is coming for me on Friday. YIKES!!

You know, I still bite my nails. The only time I didn't was when I was pregnant. I also get seasick. And, it's gotten worse as I've gotten older. Our last cruise? Pure hell.

I love the pictures from the wedding.
